Partner exits /partner conflicts

It is not unusual for several partners to join forces to build a business, but after a while one, or more, decide either to leave the project entirely, or significantly reduce their engagement. The motivation varies greatly from retirement and health concerns, to the desire to devote time to a hobby or new business interest.

A conflict between partners, who have not managed their differences in strategy and management, may be another motivation.

In such a case, the solution could be a buyout of a partner by others, an entry of a new investor, or, for example, a division of the company and mutual settlement.  Here, we will do our best to understand the motivation and needs of each partner, and propose the most satisfactory transaction structure. If need be, we can assist in finding suitable financing. We can act in the mandate of all or some of the partners.
